Welcome to Mur Slave Academy!!!

We are a Gorean training school for those who wish to learn about being a gorean slave in the world of Second Life. We try to train as close to the novels of John Norman as possible with the limitations of being in a virtural world. We accept both girls and boys who wish to learn the right way.

Why was this Academy started?

The Link to sighn up for Second Life.

Tal, I am Kara Oyen, owner and founder of Mur Slave Academy. I wanted to share my gorean story, so people will understand the back ground of Mur, and to know why some of our rules are what they are. The only way to fully understand Mur is to know me. Here is my story and how Mur was started.

I started my gorean role play as a slave. I wanted something I was not in real life, so a slave is what I choose to play. I'm not one to jump into something I know nothing about, so yes I did my research before even going into to gor. So when I knew  I  knew enough to at least get me by  (boy was I wrong) , First thing I did was do a search for a gorean  slave school. I was amazed to see there wasn't many. (At the time) and the ones that were gorean/bdsm. So I settled on one that was at the time I thought a great school. (I won’t give the name or the people there I won’t bash anyone or their role play). The school allowed no raids so I felt it was the right place to learn and not worry if I was going to be capped while I was learning. Things went well for a few days, but  when I came  I told the head Master I was red silk, not realizing that I was from  earth  and that didn't matter, I should have been white silk because I was new to gor. (Just one of the things later I realizing they were wrong about). So as time went on he felt the need to start using me in a sexual way. I as a slave could not tell him no. It came to a point  that when  I  saw him log on I would  leave the sim just so  I could study ( hints the Mur's no sex rule).  As more time went on, I started realizing the only gor the Master knew was what of others told him. I started to know more than him and yes IN OOC I told him so. At first he accepted that, but later got very annoyed at it. So one day I came on and his FC told me I was kicked out of the school. YES I Kara kicked from a school for knowing too much. Amazing aint it?

So I had to leave the school, I was so totally lost and confused as to what to do next. So in the end I did find a Master that was kind to me, he released me   as a slave to become a free woman, I later became his FC.

At first Mur didn't start out as a gorean city. I, my FC and a good friend started a medieval city. (That where the name Mur came from it is a name of a medieval city). But one day as I sat realizing that the city wasn't going anywhere. I thought of the slave school  I was at and thought to myself  " I can do that and so much better"  so I took the idea to my FC and my friend, they loved the chance to be  back in gor.

So for my lessons at the time   I thought good idea to use alot of the note cards I already had, but has time went on I realized there were not right at all. So I took some time going through each one. To this day I go though my lessons making sure everything is right.... update on this is now at this day, I have quotes backing everything I teach. Yes it took a while but for my students to know true gor it was worth it, the quotes are also in the lessons itself to back up what they are learning.

As time went on things were not going so great with my FC and my friend that helped me start the school. I learned that my friend was talking to my female students in ways he shouldn't have been. Things that was unacceptable for me. So in the end it was very hard for me to do but I asked my good friend to leave. This really hurt because he has never spoken to me again. But it was a good move to do and I stand behind it to this day. In my mind it is just something I had to do for my school.

As you can guess there is so much more to my story, but the half above is to show why I do what I do and to show I will do anything to keep it that way. The full story is available in the school to hopefully allow the students to get to know me and the reasons behind Mur Academy.
